Clementi
Vice Chairman
Peter Clementi has served on the AAMA-CDC Board for over eight years
and is currently Vice-Chairman of the Board. A native of Miami, Florida,
he has been in the Houston area since 1985 and has established his own
development and financial services company. He has been an active home
builder in "upper brackets" markets in West University and
Montrose areas of Houston. His firm, Centriole Builders, also serves
as Project Manager for several large Houston-based builders including
SpawGlass and LDF Construction.
During
his Board tenure Mr. Clementi's firm oversaw the building of AAMA, Inc.,'s
$4.0 million Multipurpose Education Center, which is the cornerstone
of the George I. Sanchez Charter High School on the AAMA Campus. He's
also been Project manager for the rehab of several AAMA buildings for
code improvements for fire and safety requirements and he managed new
construction of a residential facility that was added to the Campus.
In these capacities peter Clementi drew upon his knowledge of the development
and construction business including working with project architects,
finalizing "as built" drawings, and cost overruns. This knowledge
gives him a keen insight on how construction methods can impact on a
facility's operating costs.
He makes his home
in Houston and also has offices in Lafayette, Louisiana. Educated in
Miami's Diocesan School System, he attended Dade County College. A successful
businessman, Mr. Clementi developed his expertise through a "hands-on"
approach to business entreprenurialship. He is 39 years of age,
is married and recently became a first-time parent of a daughter, Antonina
Clementi.
